Pouring My Heart into Arashel – And Watching It Bloom

Arashel has always felt like my baby. A little seed of an idea planted many years ago that I’ve nurtured, watered, and held close to my heart. And now, after weeks of renewed focus and hard work, I can honestly say—it’s blooming.

Yesterday was my very first market with Arashel, right here in our beautiful little hometown of Yea. And what a day it was! I made some lovely sales, sure—but more than that, I had the absolute joy of watching people discover my products for the first time. Seeing their faces light up as they picked up soaps, serums, balms and more... chatting with customers, sharing my story and hearing theirs… it was truly one of the proudest moments of my journey so far.

And now, here we are—prepping for an even bigger step. Tomorrow I’ll be at the Whittlesea Market for the first time. It’s a BIG market, and I’ve spent the day fine-tuning my setup, making a few last-minute products, and packing the car. We leave at 5:45am (eeeek!) and I’m taking just my two daughters with me. They’ve been such a help and I’m giving them some pocket money for their efforts—which they’re pretty excited about!

There’s such a difference in how I feel now, compared to the stress I used to carry working at the café. This is something I love. Something that flows from my passion and purpose. It’s such a rewarding feeling to pour your heart and soul into something that is yours, and to feel it taking root in the lives of others too.

Here’s to more markets, more connection, more purpose... and more growth.

🌿Thank you for supporting Arashel—it means the world.
